Jamyang Foundation for Buddhist Women is registered as a non-profit 501(c)3 organization in the State of California (EIN: 95-4112765). All donations are tax-deductible. $20 per month ($240/year) provides a full scholarship for one student. The students come from poor villages in the Himalayas and the border areas of Bangladesh, so the Jamyang Foundation programs are entirely dependent on donations. Please lend your support!

Wishlist

The Jamyang Foundation education projects for women in the Himalayas and the three primary schools in Bangladesh are in constant need of supplies. The list below represents the needs of the students. In these remote areas, where supplies are not readily available, your gifts will be greatly appreciated. Since postage costs are very high, monetary donations are best. Supplies can be purchased in nearby towns and delivered to the projects.

Making Donations

If you would like to donate specific things to the Jamyang Foundation projects, please contact us. Larger items and medical supplies are donated to the school as a whole, for use by all the students. Smaller items should be donated in sufficient quantities that they can be equally distributed to every student in a particular project or all the students. Please let us know what you would like to donate and we will send you an estimate of the costs. We’ll be happy to purchase and deliver your donations!
